The New Zealand singer, 27, appeared close to the producer, who is rumored to be helping him with his new album, as they went for a walk through the city.
Lorde, who hasn't been photographed with her music manager Justin Warren since March 2023, looked casually flirty in a long black skirt, red T-shirt and green jacket.
The singer completed her look with a pair of black boots and was spotted sitting on a park bench as she chatted with Jim-E.
The American musician walked with Lorde in blue jeans and a white T-shirt.
The pair recently sparked rumors they were working on a new album together after Jim-E shared a photo of Lorde on Instagram in August.
The picture showed the singer sitting in a studio and working on a laptop.
A few weeks after Lorde completely wiped her social media accounts, leading fans to speculate that a new album was on the way.

One picture showed her in a long black dress, looking out over a balcony, while another captured the moment she spat from the edge.
Adding to the intrigue, he shared a close-up of his hand holding a tablet with 'Spit' written on it.
She wrote a text message which read: 'Use available tools where possible. If the tools do not exist, you are spiritually obligated to create them.

'So the lead is called a single spit?' one questioned.
'Lorde what is this please release an album,' wrote another excited fan, while a third commented: 'Lorde new album coming!'

The Grammy Award-winning songwriter debuted two new songs during her set at the UK's Boardmasters Festival last year.
According to Vulture, the winner played a pair of songs that were said to be titled Silver Moon and Invisible My, although he later denied those were the final names.

While many fans suspected Lorde was planning to release a new album, she took to her Instagram account at the time to reveal that she had no big plans.
She wrote: 'It's not the beginning of anything outside, you have to know that there is a light inside me.'
When another fan commented that the hitmaker was trying to mislead his fans, he doubled down on his original denial.
'I'm desperate to get these off my laptop… but they're not bad,' he wrote.
Lorde's most recently released album, Solar Power, debuted in August 2021.

Meanwhile, Lorde hinted at relationship issues with her long-term boyfriend Justin, 43, last year when she shared a distressing open letter with her fans, revealing she was suffering from personal 'heartbreak'.
They were first photographed frolicking on the beach together in 2016, but at the time Justin dismissed rumors that they were dating.
But over the years, they've toured the world together, and Justin has even been spotted near the songstress' $2.8 million villa.
