This comes after reports that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are set to release a tribute song to their tragic friend Fatman Scoop.

The two are apparently friends of the late artist who teamed up to create the track after the 'Loose Control' singer died aged 53 following a collapse on stage in front of a crowd of shocked fans.

A source told The Sun about how Rihanna recorded vocals for the song at Red Bus Recording Studios in London earlier this week: 'Rihanna and Scoop knew each other very well.

'They've collaborated before, and Scoop recently recorded 'Happy Hood' on Rocky's upcoming album 'Don't Be Dumb'.

“After her death, Rihanna was given a chance to put some vocals on.

'She spent the start of the week at Red Bus recording studios in London.

'It was a very short visit, she stayed there for a couple of days until the early hours.'

A$AP – born Rakim Athelston Meyers – recently revealed that he recorded the track 'Happy Hood' with Fatman Scoop and Slick Rick, Busta Rhymes, Flavor Flav and Morrissey.

Footage of the rapper's medical emergency showed screams from fans as he climbed onto a stage before disappearing from view as medical crews raced to revive him.
