According to Sun on Sunday, Coleen is expected to appear in November to take part in the show, which her four boys are said to be huge fans of.
A source said: 'I'm A Celebrity bosses have pulled off a huge plot to take Coleen into the jungle this year and the team are delighted to have her on board.
'He has always been a huge fan of the show and loves watching it with his boys. ITV is over the moon that the stars have aligned this year and he can match it. This series is set to be one of the best yet.
'Colin has a huge fan base and has won huge praise for his classy handling of the Wakata Christie case.'
The pair became the center of Cole's big storm in 2019 when Rebecca accused him of leaking information about her to the press.
Rebecca sued Coleen for defamation, but Coleen won in 2022 with a judge declaring her claim to be 'substantially true'.
Rebecca was later instructed to pay 90 per cent of 38-year-old Colin's fees with an initial payment of £800,000 but is challenging the claimed £1.8million costs.
Senior costs judge Andrew Gordon-Sager has now told Rebecca to pay an extra £100,000 within 21 days at the end of the latest hearing, which began on Monday.
He said: 'I think there is some scope for further payments into the account so the defendant (Ms Rooney) is not excluded from her costs and I think it should not exceed £100,000.'
The hearing, which neither woman attended, dealt with a number of preliminary issues before a full 'line-by-line' assessment of costs would take place at a later date, which would determine the total amount due.
Judge Gordon-Sager said this could happen as early as 2025, but added: 'The parties need to get on with it and put it behind them.'
He said: 'Realistically, it (tax-by-tax assessment) will probably be next year, hopefully early next year.'
