Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has become the target of social media scorn after he was caught on video trying to load his shotgun while pheasant hunting.

“Tim Walz Claimed to Carry 'Weapons of War' But Can't Load a Shotgun? This guy is very weak. My little sister could beat him. I have to watch it,” country singer John Rich said in response. video.

Comments come later Vice President Kamala Harris” runner hit the fields to celebrate the opening of Minnesota's pheasant hunting season, and Walz invited members of the press to document the occasion.

However, what caught the attention of many social media users was the Minnesota governor's struggles to load his shotgun.

“Tim Walz looks as comfortable loading a shotgun as Kamala is answering basic questions,” conservative commentator Buck Sexton said in response to the video.

Harris' campaign leaned heavily on Walz's Midwestern Roots campaign in an attempt to appeal to voters in critical swing Rust Belt states, with the Minnesota governor frequently touting his status as a gun owner and history as a hunter while calling for “common sense” regulations regarding weapons.

Those hunting skills were called into question after a three-hour hunt that, according to CBS News, resulted in the death of Minnesota's governor for not firing a single shot.

“Tim Walz claims to be a lifelong bird hunter, but this clearly proves he has no idea how to load and load a semi-automatic shotgun,” said conservative commentator John Cardillo. “I throw A LOT on sports surfaces, both with semi-automatics, but mainly with over-unders. He's a newbie here.”

“After watching Tim Walz try to use a shotgun, I officially withdraw any criticisms of him regarding avoiding combat zones,” added conservative commentator Jason Robertson, referring to Walz's “stolen courage” accusations made earlier in the campaign. “He is a HERO. He's so bad with guns that he saved American lives by avoiding the War Zone.”

“Tim Walz looks like someone who has never loaded a shotgun,” joked author James Hirsen.

The film even drew comparisons to Elmer Fudd, the classic Looney Tunes character who often fought with his own shotgun in his fictional pursuit of Bugs Bunny.
