Now that fashion month has come to an end, it's time to fully digest everything we've seen — from New York's biggest fashion trends to the looks that will take London by storm in 2025. Of course, as a beauty editor, I consider this my I work 24/7 to track emerging beauty trends that stood out at each show. Seriously, I keep a note on my phone when I look up videos and photos from each show.
After completing my latest research, I have some thoughts. While there were some slightly flashier trends, most of what I saw was quite wearable and easy to recreate. From rosy cheeks and winged eyeliner to luminous eyeshadow looks, look ahead. I'm breaking down all the beauty trends from Fashion Month S/S 25 that have been giving me makeup tips for days.
1. Wings of Glory
Spotted in: Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Coperni, Courrèges, Gucci, Carolina Herrera
I never tire of seeing a dramatic wing on the runway. While this trend has popped up a few times over the years, designers have kept it fresh by playing with wing length and tail. As you can see above, models at McQueen's show sported an extra-elongated wing that extended past the eyebrow for dramatic effect. Other shows, like Carolina Herrera, opted for a subtle upward movement that is simple, elegant and romantic to stay on par with the collection. This is an easy look to replicate if you're already handy with an eyeliner pencil or liquid eyeliner.

2. Cyberpunk
Spotted in: Anrealage, Lutz Huelle, Mugler, Aadnevik, Chet Lo, Ferrari
Futuristic elements can be seen in fashion shows from fashion months such as Anrealage, Lutz Huelle, Mugler and Ferrari. Anrealage opted for cyber-tech hats, while Mugler models wore sharp dystopian bobs. Some designers like Chet Lo took advantage of the Blade Runner–Chic aesthetics a step further with futuristic and abstract nail designs.

3. Pink tones
Spotted in: Hermès, Isabel Marant, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Peter Do, Stella McCartney, Emporio Armani
Rosy looks were on full display this fashion month, with shades ranging from '90s nude pink and lilac to juicy fruit. Most designers opted for a rosy-pink lip or a pop of color on the cheeks, keeping it simple but polished. There were, however, a few shows that fully embraced more vibrant tones, like Chet Lo, Emporio Armani and Peter Do. This look is the most practical for everyday life, and you can choose a pink color that matches your specific skin tone.

4. Luminous Eyes
Spotted in: Fiorucci, Emporio Armani, Buerlangma, Knwls, Huishan Zhang, Kobi Halperin
While the Fall/Winter 24 shows featured looks in gold and silver tones reminiscent of the disco era of the '70s, this season aimed to take that sparkle to a higher level. On Kobi Halperin and Buerlangma, huge pops of shimmer and dynamic color were used beyond the upper lids and along the cheeks for an extra luminous look. This type of look works great if you have hooded eyes. Bringing the shadow up to the eyebrow will help lift and open the eye.

5. Retro glamor
Spotted in: Dolce & Gabbana, Marni, Richard Quinn, Christian Cowan
A veil here, a Marilyn Monroe wig there. Another theme that emerged this season? Retro beauty – complete with statement 50s curls at Dolce & Gabbana and eyebrows straight out of a vaudeville show at Marni and Christian Cowan. This trend might be less realistic for casual wear, but a “retro-lite” version could work, perhaps? Adding some wave to your hair with a strong brow is a start.

6. Dark Feminine
Spotted in: Christian Dior, Christian Siriano, Chanel, Huishan Zhang
The dark feminine aesthetic took over TikTok and the S/S 25 runways. Smokey eyes, heavy eyeliner and dark hair accessories were seen at Dior, Christian Siriano, Chanel and Huishan Zhang. This is the perfect vibe for fall, IMO, and I'll pair any runway inspiration with a dark nail color to go with it.

7. Mermaid lips
Spotted in: Ferrari, Elisabetta Franchi, Versace, Alejandra Alonso Rojas
Bold, velvety lip colors were seen everywhere, but looks at Ferrari, Elisabetta Franchi, and Versace really stood out this time. Bright shades of candy apple red and deeper lip tones like berry wine appeared. You can take a look at some of our beauty team's favorite mermaid lip shades.
