A lifelong single on screen, Miranda Hart had a blast when she found love with the man she coyly called 'Bristol Boy'.
But today the comedian's secret husband could be revealed – as handsome divorcee Richard Fairs.
Last night the 60-year-old was pictured picking up Ms Hart at the Cheltenham Literature Festival – 24 hours after she revealed her first name on The Graham Norton Show.
Fairs, who plays drums in his local swing band, was previously married to teacher Jeanne Speight. The couple, who have a son Jack and a daughter Shula, separated around 2017 after more than 25 years of marriage.
More recently, he reportedly lived with an Indian homeopathic therapist named Dr. Anjali Hariharan.

Last night, one of Mr Fairs' neighbors at his home in Somerset told The Mail on Sunday: 'I've always found him a very pleasant man, very charming and charismatic. I haven't seen him much recently because he stays a lot away from home now and rarely seems to sleep here.
Another of his friends told how he is selling his bungalow – sparking speculation that he has moved in with Mrs Hart at her home in Hammersmith, west London, where he was spotted by locals.
'I'm sure he's already sold that house or at least it's on sale. It has been on the market for some time, but I was told that he has now managed to sell it,' said the neighbor.
Hart, 51, first revealed that he had secretly married in July in his autobiography, I Wasn't Completely Honest with You, released last week.
In it, she revealed that she was married to a surveyor who she met when he came to address the mold in her house during lockdown. But it appears to have been an on-and-off relationship and Hart says in his book that they were on the verge of separation when he proposed in January during a visit to Kew Gardens.

Last night at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, Hart told fans she fell in love with him “almost straight away” on their first date – a pizza dinner at the height of the pandemic.
She said the two sat in her living room talking for two hours while they waited for the pizza to be delivered.
She added: “Unfortunately mine went through the box and turned into a calzone. I was going on and on about my diverted pizza and it didn't seem to bother him.
'We had been talking for about two hours and I realized almost immediately that I was in love with him. It was our first date and to my surprise he came back for a second date, even though I talked a lot about that pizza. A spokesperson for Hart declined to comment.
