The drama continues to mount for Hassan Reddick.

D New York Jets Passer was reinstated in March, but when the two teams failed to agree on a new contract before the start of the season, he requested a trade before playing for them.

Reddick continued to stand his ground and apparently the situation had gotten so bad that his agents had decided to no longer represent him.

However, Reddick apparently isn't very good with money after being sued by a business partner for $1.6 million.

case by New York Post He said that Reddick did not pay Mika Khan after Khan claimed that he saved the company that Reddick ran. Khan said Reddick contacted him “knowing he had experience in the home health care industry and asked him to take a lead role in marketing and business development” for the company.

The parties reportedly agreed that Khan would receive half of the profits if Reddick sold Haven Home Health Agency.

Khan's lawsuit states that Haven Home Health Agency, purchased by Reddick in 2018, until Khan “made Haven a successful company his primary focus by working full-time on Haven's behalf.”

The company is now “very successful” and Reddick has decided to sell it for $3.25 million, the lawsuit says.

But when Khan demanded his half, he said he was physically threatened by Reddick's father “allegedly on Mr. Reddick's orders” and by “a dozen men wearing black gloves during a business meeting claiming to be Hasan's personal security.”

“During the post-sale meeting, Mr. Mathews made it clear that (they) intended (Khan) to breach their payment obligations,” the lawsuit says.

Reddick's attorney, Edward S. Robson, sent the following statement to Fox News Digital:

“This matter is an ongoing business dispute. Judging by his actions, however, the plaintiff clearly believes he can inflate the value of his legal claims by naming an NFL superstar as a defendant, even though he should not. the media will pick up on the case because the complaint alleges an event that did not happen – the sale of Haven Home Health Agency in this case against Mr. Reddick while Mr. Reddick is on the field while the other defendants stand on shaky ground like a returning quarterback. in your pocket.”

This year alone, Reddick has lost nearly $9 million by missing camp, practices, preseason games and the regular season, so he could probably use that extra $1.6 million.

Jets owner Woody Johnson, however, Reddick was told to “get in your car, go down Interstate 95 to the New York Jets, and we'll meet you and walk you to the building.”

Reddick, 30, is coming off his second straight Pro Bowl season in which he recorded 11 sacks, 38 total tackles (13 for loss) and 23 quarterback hits for the Eagles.

He has recorded double-digit sacks in each of the last four seasons, making him someone who can add strength to a Jets defense that has once again performed well to start the new year. However, it is becoming abundantly clear that abstaining from the game may be his worst move yet.
