The influencer, 25, works with award-winning production company Nowvibee and co-producer Demi Doyle. Home of Netflix's The Furies.
Molly-May, who recently launched her own clothing brand, Maeby, has now sparked a bidding war with two major streamers, both of whom want to air the show.
A source told The Sun: 'Fans will have noticed camera crews following Molly around for a while.

It comes after Tommy denied claims he cheated on her during her first TV appearance on Thursday's This Morning.
During the segment, Tommy spoke about the tough recent times ahead of the release of his debut memoir, Lightning Can Strike Twice: My Life as a Fury – where he was bombarded with questions from hosts Kate Deeley and Ben Shepherd.
Of the accusations that he cheated on Molly-May, which he denies in the book, Tommy simply said: 'There's a lot of stuff out there.'
'The whole world has seen what we've been going through for the last few months, but yes, I added the last chapter. [in the book] I talked about all my feelings, how I felt at the moment and kept everyone updated.
'It was hard but you can read about it there.'

He added: 'Me, Molly and Bambi are a family unit and we're going to deal with this personally.'
When asked if he would like to get back together with Molly as the pair and Bambi seem like a 'fantastic team', he said: 'Yes. As I say, this is my family and I will love them until the day I die.
'There are a lot of critics out there, and there will be critics until the day I die.'
Everyone points fingers when there's a race to jump. But at the end of the day, out of respect for Molly and out of respect for me and our relationship, I'm going to let us deal with it as privately as we can.
'I am delighted to be here today to talk about my book. I want to leave everything to me and Molly because we have to honor ourselves to do that.
Despite some tough times following the couple's split, Tommy insisted he is now 'feeling good' and has been promoting his book through his boxing training and looking after Bambi.
He said: 'I feel good, I feel good. It doesn't take a genius to do that, it was just too hard for me. It's a very difficult time.'

Over the summer, Mali-May shared the shocking news that she had split from fiance Tommy after months of vacation and speculation.
Reports at the time claimed that Tommy had been dumped by her after he cheated on her with a Danish woman he met on holiday in North Macedonia.
On the rumours, he said: “All the allegations leveled against me recently are completely false. In time the truth will come out and when it does I think a lot of people will regret their actions and unkind words.
'What people think is not what happens. It wasn't something I had in mind, but it just came out of nowhere. It was something that existed before all of this happened, but only Molly and I knew what was going on in our relationship.
Meanwhile, Molly-May is focusing on her clothing line, which launched last week, telling MailOnline that she is looking forward to a 'new era' in her life after the split.
In an exclusive interview, the influencer said she felt 'overwhelmed' but was putting all her energy into looking after her daughter Bambi and her new clothing line, Maeby.
She said the past six months have been a juggling act, with parenting and running her existing businesses being 'tricky'.
But launching her fashion label alongside the end of her five-year relationship has given Molly the chance to focus on the next chapter: 'It's a really good time for me to happen. It's all perfectly aligned.

The launch of Molly's brand marks three years after her plans were put on hold following the birth of Bambi in January 2023.
It was a pivotal moment in Molly's career, lending her name to brands such as Beauty Works and PrettyLittleThing, where she also stepped up to Creative Director in 2021.
