Over the past 24 hours, multiple Taylor Swift social media fan pages have retweeted Clarke's tweet following a controversial podcast episode hosted by Clarke's arch rival, Angel Reese.
Reese hosted on Instagram a woman named Kayla Nicole, a promotional model, media personality, television host and popular entertainment journalist with over 797,000 followers. The fanbase has been growing rapidly since Thursday's episode aired, after Nicole detailed her past romantic relationship with Kells and its serious consequences.
“We've seen each other in public before, but I think we're both aware of the nature of this new situation, that there's no place for us to interact with each other or acknowledge each other in public, which is something crazy” with Nicole Kelce and Swiftem talks about his new relationship.
Nicole also stated that she hated the relationship ever since Kelce started dating Swift.
“I'd be lying if I said the level of hate and chaos on the internet doesn't concern me,” Nicole said. “It is still like that today. You can go to my latest post where people are arguing with each other about why I'm worthless and I'll never be a genius and I don't have a career.”
The comments sparked heated debate on social media, with some coming to Nicole's defense and sympathizing with her for the alleged hate she received. However, others, as well as many people who openly identify as Swift fans, criticized Nicole for a variety of reasons.
Many of these same Swift fans have declared themselves Clark fans in the ongoing women's basketball rivalry against Reese.
Clark and Rees They are transcendent figures in women's basketball, linked since their first meeting at the 2023 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship. Reese became famous for mocking Clark at the end of that game when his LSU Tigers defeated Clark's Iowa Hawkeyes for the title, pointing his finger in a mocking manner to remind him who would receive the ring.
This sparked outrage from Clark's large fanbase, including Bartstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, who called Reese a “piece of s” in a widely publicized X-Post after Reese's gesture in the championship game.
Clarke and Reese have never admitted that there is a “feud” between them and have only spoken respectfully about each other in interviews and press conferences. However, since the 2023 game, Stars fans have been known to attack each other on social media.

Reese claims that Clarke's fans threatened to kill her, created artificial intelligence photos of her and sent them to her family.
“I think it's really just the fans, his fans, the Iowa fans and now the Indiana fans who are really honest, rooting for him and I respect that with respect. But sometimes it's very disrespectful. I think there's a lot When it comes to racism, it exists,” Rees said.

“Hate also pays,” wrote Reese Posted in XZ nail painting emoji. The episode has gained a lot of attention in recent days, leading Reese to become the host of the podcast.
Nicole Swift is not the first victim of hateful comments from fans. Swift's fans famously attacked another woman who famously had a relationship with the Chiefs star. Brittney Mahomes, wife of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, became the subject of severe viral backlash on August 13 for liking a post from Donald Trump's Instagram account.
The post outlined the former president's political agenda for 2024. Swift fans knew Mahomes because of his friendship with Swift as they went to Chiefs games to watch Patrick Mahomes and Kelce play.
However, many of those same Swift fans retweeted screenshots similar to Mahomes' post, making her a target of online attacks that she repeatedly addressed in subsequent Instagram posts. This thrust Mahomes and her husband into a national political conversation. After Swift endorsed Kamala Harris on September 10, Trump said in a September 11 interview with Fox News that he preferred Britney Mahomes over Swift.
The same day, Patrick publicly praised his wife following Trump's comments, but declined to endorse a political candidate.
Harris' initial endorsement of Swift was also met with backlash from Clarke, who liked Swift's Instagram post announcing the statement of support.
When asked why Clark chose the position, the basketball star did not support Harris but said he wanted to use his platform to encourage Americans to vote.

As more Swift fans reach out to Clarke following the Reese interview, they will join the fanbase, a claim that is widely disputed. Some WNBA players, including Reese and Connecticut Sun player Alyssa Thomas, accused Indiana Fever fans of racism, while Sun player DeJonai Carrington called Fever fans “the worst (WNBA) fans.”
During an interview with The Fever on September 27, Clark said that some of his band's fans are not fans.
“They are not devotee. Are troll” – Clark said.
