MAIN STORY: Life in IsraelAnd even for Jews in the U.S., a year after Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attacks are far from back to normal, according to Dr. David Fox, director of crisis and trauma services at Chai Lifeline International, which supports families who living with illness or loss, said he traveled to Israel several times last year to meet with hostage families and consult with survivors' families on the ground. “I think October 7th will remain etched in the consciousness of Jews and Israelis,” Fox told Fox News Digital.

Free Press reported Wednesday that Mark Memmott, senior director of standards and practices at CBS News, sent an email to all employees in late August telling them not to refer to Jerusalem as being in Israel.
HATE MESSAGES: The house and the sidewalk University of Michigan President Santa Ono was vandalized on Monday, with anti-Israel messages painted on the site on the first anniversary of the Hamas terrorist attack against Israel. The words “intifada” and “coward” were spray-painted on the property. Mark Bernstein, a member of the university's Board of Regents, said the vandalism was “yet another aggressive act of intimidation by the anti-Semitic mob.”

GUEST EDITORIAL: Liora Rez, founder of Stop AntiSemitism, writes that a society that targets its Jews has an illiberal and stagnant culture where diverse ideas and innovation cannot thrive. Anti-Semitism is a symptom of a cancer that eats away at a civilization from the inside out. If America does not change the situation, it may go the way of other nations where hatred of Jews was rampant.
