10. Zimbabwe – 5:

Bangladesh made their Test debut in 2000 against India, but their first 500-plus Test total came in 2012 against the West Indies at the Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. Thereafter, Bangladesh scored more than 500 in an innings on 12 occasions in Tests. Bangladesh won five test matches out of these 12 games and lost twice. The highest total in Test cricket is 638, against Sri Lanka in Galle in 2013.

So far, Sri Lanka has scored 500+ points in Test cricket 42 times since their Test debut in 1982. Sri Lanka's first 500+ score total in Tests was against Australia in 1992 at SSC Colombo. They scored 547 runs but lost the match. Sri Lanka have won 29 Test matches and lost only once in matches when they scored above 500 in an innings in Tests. Sri Lanka's highest ever total in Test cricket is 952/6d, which was against India in 1997. Sri Lanka's 952/6d is also the highest team total in the history of the game's longest format.
7. New Zealand – 45:
New Zealand is one of the oldest cricket teams in the world. Despite their history in Test cricket, New Zealand have only managed to score more than 500 points in Test cricket on just 45 occasions. New Zealand's first 500+ innings came in 1954 against South Africa. New Zealand won 24 Test matches when they scored 500+ runs in an innings and lost only twice. New Zealand's highest Test total is 715, against Bangladesh in 2019.
6. South Africa – 54:
South Africa has been a dominant side in international cricket. South Africa has scored more than 500 points in Tests 54 times. South Africa won 33 Tests out of those 54 occasions and lost only one Test after scoring 500 runs in a Test match. South Africa's first 500-plus total was against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Stadium in 1910. The highest total is 682, which was against England at Lord's in 2003.
5. Pakistan – 57:
Pakistan entered international cricket after 1947 after separation from India. Pakistan has been the dominant bowling team in Test cricket. So far, they have managed to score more than 500 points in Tests on 57 occasions. Pakistan won 26 Test matches after scoring more than 500 points in total and lost four games. Pakistan's first 500-plus total was against New Zealand in 1995 at the Gaddafi Stadium.
4. West Indies – 67:
The West Indies may have lost their mojo in Test cricket, but they were once the most dominant team. West Indies have scored more than 500 in an innings in Test cricket on 67 occasions. They managed to win 28 Test matches after scoring more than 500 points in total and lost only one game. West Indies' first 500 innings was against England. The highest ever total is 790 runs, against Pakistan in 1958.
3. India – 88:
Team India has become one of the most dominant teams in Test cricket in recent years. India have surpassed the 500-plus mark 88 times in their Test history. India have won 40 out of 88 Test matches and lost two games while crossing the 500-run mark in an innings in Test cricket. India's first 500-plus total was against New Zealand at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium (now Arun Jaitely Stadium) in Delhi in 1955. India's highest ever Test total was 759, which came against England in 2016.
2. England – 114:
England have surpassed the 500-run mark 114 times in Test cricket. England took part in the first Test match played in 1877. England won 55 games on 114 occasions in which they scored over 500 points in Tests and lost only two games. England's first score of 500 in Test cricket was against their arch-rivals Australia in 1897. England's highest team total is 903, which was against Australia in 1938.
