Like many, I started a new hobby in 2020. I bought a pie-making kit from a local pie shop, and since then, my fridge is full of butter sticks. Every year I make my own birthday cake and cakes for my friends' important life events. I'm praying the bananas turn brown so I can turn them into some chocolate chip banana bread. I can't let summer go by without whipping up a strawberry-blueberry pie.
A little candy for your eyes.

The best stand mixer deal
I used to strictly hand mixer until I bought my grandmother's old KitchenAid stand mixer last month. So far, I've only made one batch of pumpkin bread with it, but I can already tell you that I'm not going back to manual mixing. You can buy cheaper and choose a more budget-friendly brand, but I've tried non-KitchenAid stand mixers and I can tell you that this one piece is worth the splurge. The Artisan Series 5-Quart Tilt-Head Mixer is down to $349.95 during Prime Big Deal Days, a $100 price cut. The smallest is the 3.5-quart Craftsman Mini that retails for $249.99.
There are tons of fun colors to choose from, and I've got my eye on a lavender cream one in case I ever need to upgrade.
Best hand mix deal
I personally use a Hamilton Beach Mixer with easy-to-clean beaters, but if you want a professional-grade hand mixer, this Prime Day deal is worth the trouble. i know Just I'm not going back to a hand mixer, but a hand mixer is truly an invaluable tool to have in your kitchen. It's a lot cheaper than a Kitchen Aid stand mixer and is more versatile for mixing cookie dough, cake batter, cream, mashed potatoes, or shredding chicken.

Best bakeware deal
A pan or sheet is the most important piece of baking equipment you'll ever need – that is, without it you'd just have a bowl of flour or dough. This six-piece set of Amazon Basics Bakeware is the cheapest you can get. But hurry, because this lightning deal will sell out. The set includes one 9 x 5-inch loaf pan, two round 9-inch cake pans, one 12-cup muffin pan, one 13 x 9-inch roast pan and a 13 x 9-inch baking sheet. It's truly everything you need to get started in the kitchen.
Great meal size deal
I'm definitely guilty of relying on my measuring cups, but hardcore bakers will tell you that food measurements are essential to getting the best bakes. I bought a dingy little pink food scale from a random brand on Amazon and the battery life was terrible. Don't be like me. Instead, go with trusted brand Etekcity and get 29% off stainless steel scale.
