Bob Woodward was branded “disgusting” for withholding critical information about Trump and Putin for his new book: “Don’t Reward This Behavior”

Liberals are furious that Bob Woodward waited to reveal critical details about Donald Trump in his book, rather than when he learned the damning information.

Several bombshell revelations are included in the journalist's upcoming book, War, according to excerpts published by several media outlets this week, ahead of its release next week.

“I really wish Bob Woodward was as interested in getting critical information out to the public as he is in selling books,” wrote one X user.

A detail from the upcoming book reveals that Trump has called Russian President Vladimir Putin at least seven times since leaving office in January 2021 — and that he has gifted the authoritarian leader with COVID tests.

He also wrote about a foul-mouthed president, Joe Biden, who claimed that his former boss, President Barack Obama, “screwed himself” by not taking Putin more seriously.

'Bob Woodward once again relies on important information that could help save lives and the nation, but he keeps it just to sell books. Disgusting,” The Left Hook substack author Wajahat Ali posted on X.

Another X user wrote: “I'm sick of so-called journalists having critical information that could better inform the public and withholding it for use in PR campaigns for their books.”

'Please don't buy Bob Woodward's new book. I'm begging you. Don't reward this behavior.'

War is Woodward's latest bombastic work, which will be available to the public on October 15th.

However, the content has already generated a lot of conversation, with some saying the latest revelations should have been released to the public sooner rather than being withheld as a tactic to sell more books.

Among War's revelations is that Trump has been in regular contact with Putin since leaving office.

Woodward, 81, attributes details about the extent of the contacts to a Trump aide.

The former president's 2024 campaign unleashed a surprising attack on the “troubled” author and said the bombshell claims are not true.

“None of these stories invented by Bob Woodward are true and are the work of a truly demented and disturbed man who suffers from a debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome,” said Trump campaign communications director Steven Cheung.

He went on to criticize the journalist whose reporting helped lead to Richard Nixon's resignation.

The journalist's series of books about D.C. institutions managed to gain cooperation from a number of prominent sources — including Trump.

“Woodward is an angry little man and is clearly upset that President Trump is successfully suing him over the unauthorized publication of recordings he previously made,” Cheung added.

'President Trump has given you absolutely no access to this trash book that belongs in the bargain bin of the fiction section of a discount bookstore or is used as toilet paper. Woodward is a total scumbag who has lost his mental control and is slow, lethargic, incompetent, and overall a boring, personalityless person.
