Dendrobium, or lycoris as poets like to call it, is a vibrant plant that was believed to be extinct in Genshin Impact. However, the flower reappeared in the midst of battles in Inazuma, as it is said that Dendrobium blooms enchantingly wherever blood is spilled. This is probably why this flower can’t be grown in the Serenitea Pot.
Unlike some flowers in Mondstadt, Dendrobium isn’t sold by any merchant in Inazuma, so players must explore the open world to collect them. Some areas in Inazuma are filled with blood spills, perfect for Dendrobium locations in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact: Chiori Team Composition Guide
Chiori is a simple sub-DPS in Genshin Impact, but one part of her mechanic demands a second Geo character in her team composition.
Updated on October 8, 2024, by Nahda Nabiilah: When Dendrobium was released in Genshin Impact, no one used it for their Ascension materials. In version 2.1, Kujou Sara demands this flora for her upgrades, but for the longest time, no other character needs it. This finally changed in version 4.5 with the release of Chiori. Although her name has been recently boasted in Fontaine, she stays true to her roots as an Inazuman, so Chiori Ascension materials hail from the Land of Thunder.
Dendrobium Locations In Genshin Impact
A total of 55 Dendrobium are scattered between Kannazuka and Yashiro Island. Exploring with characters like Gorou and Nahida in Genshin Impact will surely make this journey much easier, as the former possesses a passive that marks Inazuma’s local specialties and the latter’s Elemental Skill helps players gather multiple flowers at once. There are three Dendrobium farming routes in Genshin Impact:
- Kujou Encampment
- Nazuchi Beach
- Between Serpent’s Head and Jakotsu Mine
Dendrobium Locations In Genshin Impact – Kujou Encampment
The Kujou Encampment possesses a total of 14 Dendrobium. The flowers are split between two islands.
- Head to the Kujou Encampment Waypoint and run north. Plenty of Dendrobium are found in front of the encampment’s entrance.
- Turn west to find a lone Kairagi: Dancing Thunder; defeat it to pick up the flowers peacefully.
- Keep going west to reach a small island where there are two Dendrobium.
- Travel to the Waypoint closest to Pyro Hypostasis in Genshin Impact and gather the surrounding flowers.
- The remaining four Dendrobium are found under a Thunder Barrier north of the Pyro cube. Acquire an Electrogranum from the Thunder Sakura Boughs situated west of the cube and remove the Barrier. Note that players may not be able to remove some Barriers if their Sakura Tree level is too low.
Defeating the Pyro Hypostasis is not necessary.
Dendrobium Locations In Genshin Impact – Nazuchi Beach
Travel to the Teleport Waypoint east of Nazuchi Beach to gather 29 Dendrobium. This Dendrobium route is infested with Nobushi of all kinds, so be prepared to fight and include some Meta characters in Genshin Impact.
The flowers can be gathered along the shore west of the Waypoint. At some point, the shore will split and Travelers can go north to collect even more flowers. Don’t forget the small island south of the beach.
Dendrobium Locations In Genshin Impact – Between Serpent’s Head And Jakotsu Mine
The remaining 12 Dendrobium are found around Maguu Kenki’s battle area in Genshin Impact. Fast travel to the Waypoint between Serpent’s Head and Jakotsu Mine, then glide down to the boss area. Several Dendrobium can be collected around the Maguu Kenki without the need to defeat the boss.
Although players will collect 55 Dendrobium, it’s not enough to level up a character. So Travelers have to wait 48 hours for the Genshin Impact Dendrobium to respawn or visit another player’s world. Other than leveling up characters, Dendrobium is used for purchasing a Genius Invokation TCG card back as well as crafting some fishing baits.
