Domination Dynasty will pit you against 999 other players in intense tactical combat

With perhaps one of the most interesting gameplay features I have heard of recently, Domination Dynasty has been released on mobile and is a turn-based strategy game that can feature 1,000 players on a single map simultaneously. That is an insane amount of moves to consider, and I kind of love it.

In Domination Dynasty players will start off in the middle of a massive island, vying with an ungodly number of players. You can pick between a number of factions including China, Rome, and most importantly, the Vikings. From then, it’s time to expand your territory, crush your enemies, and establish your dynasty.

The way the turn-based system works here is pretty interesting. Instead of most RTS games where you wander around and move troops at will, there is instead a global round-timer. At each hour, every single player’s turn will be executed, giving you plenty of time to plan your next move. It is quite a good concept for those who want a war game, but can’t be on it repositing troops all the time.

If you are thinking this sounds too slow then don’t fret too much, there is plenty to do between these rounds. At any time you are able to upgrade and expand your city, complete quests, progress on your research tress, or craft helpful items for your conquest before the next turn of fighting begins.

With all this intrigue and a thousand player moves to consider, you might feel a little overwhelmed. Well, it is an RTS at the end of the day, so of course you can join up with friends. Create your own alliance with your friends to give yourself the advantage. You could even conquer a whole island together, before turning your attention to the rest of the world.

Domination Dynasty is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
