Today’s waifu is Lafiel from Crest of the Stars!
Lafiel (whose full name is Abriel Nei Debrusc Borl Paryun Lafiel apparently) is the princess of the Humankind Empire of Abh and part of the royal family.
The Abh are a race of space-faring “artificial humans” genetically designed for space travel. They’re adapted to variable gravity and have a special sensing organ on their forehead that is able to interpret information transmitted from a special headpiece.
Lafiel has the iconic pointed ears of the Abriel royal family, giving her an elf-like appearance. In a way the Abh are very much like elves, their aging slows after the age of 15, maxing out at an appearance of approximately 25 years old and then ceasing.
Lafiel was suggested for this week’s waifu by a reader on Twitter.
