The First Descendant tops 10 million players in first week

Nexon have announced that their looter shooter The First Descendant has reached over 10 million players in just its first week of launch.

These are impressive numbers despite the numerous issues that have plagued the game since it launch just a mere week ago. That said, there have been many patches and hotfixes as the developer continues to address these bugs.

Currently the game is in what Nexon call, “pre-season” as players continue to build upon their accounts and move through the initial parts of the story. While things have been rough so far, they are continuing to move on plans for this free-to-play live service title.

The First Descendant is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam). You can check out our preview of the game here.
