Axel from Crazy Taxi will be offered as DLC for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble, SEGA just revealed.
Axel can be used in both Adventure Mode and Battle Mode, and has unique stats to help him on the courses. Additionally, all in-game bananas will switch to coins in homage to the franchise – it’s for this character only.
Everyone who picks up the game’s SEGA Pass will gain access to Axel. Alternatively, the character is included in the Banana Rumble Digital Deluxe Edition. Other purchase options include a separate bundle and standalone.

Recently, SEGA also revealed Sonic the Hedgehog DLC for the game. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy will all be available. More information can be found here.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble arrives for Switch on June 25, 2024. Axel will be distributed this fall.
