Developer Pocket Pair has announced the first major update for their smash hit monster collecting game, Palworld.
The first big update for the game, titled “Sakurajima”, is set to launch this summer on June 27th, 2024.
This update is set to release the previously announced Arena PVP mode. There will also be new areas to explore, new Pals to collect, new faction leaders to battle, as well as a hard mode for preexisting leaders.
Beyond new features, they’re adding in improvements to the building mechanics and Xbox players will be able to create dedicated servers.

Palworld was released back in January 2024 for Windows PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is also on Xbox Game Pass.
