In Freestyle mode, players can perform the spectacular tricks that make Monster Jam unique. Tutorials are available to help both experts and beginners master extreme stunts like wheelies and donuts in stadiums based on real venues and themed environments inspired by the American outdoors. Beyond official locations, players can enjoy off-road races with chaotic arcade-racing action, featuring boosts, destructible objects, intricate track designs, and extreme weather conditions for unpredictable scenarios.
The Showdown Tour offers a non-linear career experience with numerous events, allowing players to explore eight different game modes across three original biomes reminiscent of Death Valley, Colorado, and Alaska. For those seeking competition, there are plenty of opportunities to showcase their skills. Split-screen mode lets family and friends compete in flips and tricks, while online play offers various events and challenges.
Monster Jam Showdown will officially release on August 29 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Epic Games Store and Steam with Steam Early Access releasing on August 26.
