Release date and demo arrival announced

Pre-orders are now open for both the Standard and Deluxe editions of Enotria: The Last Song on the Epic Games Store and PlayStation Store. Pre-orders for Xbox Series X/S will be opening soon.

Enotria: The Last Song

The Italian studio Jyamma Games has finally unveiled new juicy details about Enotria: The Last Song, their highly anticipated Souls-Like video game inspired by Italian folklore (you can find more about Enotria here).

Nearly two months after announcing the new release date during the Future Games Show Spring Showcase on March 21st, and amidst the controversies surrounding the decision to limit the release on August 21st – the new release date – to PlayStation 5 and PC, leaving out Xbox for that date, which sparked a furious reaction from the Xbox community (for further information on the matter, click here), Jyamma Games has made another major announcement. This includes the unveiling of the new release date, the upcoming arrival of a free demo, and many other details.

An important decision, on which the team – we are sure – has pondered considerably, especially in light of the agreements made with the publisher SEGA for the game’s release in Asia, and which we believe, also due to the tense atmosphere within the Xbox community, prompted the developers to make a slight adjustment and set a new release date that also includes Xbox Series X/S.

Therefore, if you’re curious about the new release date and all the new information released by Jyamma Games, follow us, as we will provide you with all the details.

The new release date of Enotria: The Last Song

Despite the significant change in plans, the game won’t be long before it’s in our hands. As announced by Jyamma Games, Enotria will be available from September 19, 2024, on PC via Epic Games Store and Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

This choice is hoped to set aside many of the complaints and controversies that have surrounded the game in recent months and, dare we say, is also very intelligent on the part of Jyamma Games. Not only will it avoid a head-on clash with the highly anticipated Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, releasing on June 21, but also with another significant potential competitor, Black Myth: Wukong, releasing on August 20, the day before Enotria’s former release date.

Release date and details about the free demo

Before we delve into the demo details, let’s briefly talk about the gameplay showcase shared by the development team. This extensive 15-minute demonstration is an absolute must-watch – you can find the video below – as it provides an in-depth look at the key features of Enotria: the inspiration behind the game, important lore information, including The Force of Ardore, details about Stagnation, another pivotal element driving the narrative of Enotria, and a wealth of new information about exploration, combat mechanics, music, quests, and the robust RPG component present in the title.

In anticipation of the June Steam Next Fest, developers invite us to immerse ourselves in the warmth and beauty of Italian folklore with an exclusive 8-hour demo, available from May 22 for PC and PlayStation 5.

The demo experience of Enotria: The Last Song begins in Quinta, the city of actors. Playing as the Mask of Change, players will confront the Authors, formidable enemies who created the Canovaccio, an eternal and twisted game that keeps the world in an unnatural stasis. Master the art of parrying while seamlessly switching between three customizable equipment sets on the fly to overcome the most challenging foes.

The demo will feature 4 distinct weapon classes, each with a variety of unique weapons, and 6 unique masks to discover, each bringing along new devastating gameplay styles and distinctive passive abilities. Enhance different playstyles by choosing from over 20 spells and 30 perks to create your Mask of Change.
