Epic Games has tirelessly worked on many Fortnite collaborations over the past few years. Due to this, it’s no surprise that another one is around the corner. At the moment, Fortnite players are working on unlocking Aang and other Avatar skins, while also using new Mythic abilities. However, as soon as this event is done, we will get another Fortnite x Star Wars collaboration.
So far, Epic has revealed the release date of the next collaboration, as well as a few things that will be added with it. However, we will likely get more information over the next two weeks. The next Fortnite x Star Wars collaboration is coming in early May
Epic Games and Disney have collaborated many times in the past, bringing a couple of iconic Star Wars characters to Fortnite. Thanks to this collaboration, we can now play as Anakin Skywalker, Darth Maul, Han Solo, and others. In less than three weeks, this impressive lineup of skins will be expanded even further!
The next collab between the two companies will take place on Friday, May 3. While the date may be odd, as it’s just a day before Star Wars day, it makes sense considering that many collaborations come on Fridays.
Epic did not reveal much about the upcoming collaboration, but we do know that it will bring content for almost every major game mode. We expect lightsabers to return in Fortnite Battle Royale, while LEGO Fortnite will also get some Star Wars skins. Furthermore, the game developer teased the addition of the Star Wars theme to the Fortnite Festival.
According to Fortnite leakers, the upcoming collab will bring new weapons, including the Wookie Bowcaster. Furthermore, General Leia Organa will either be a new skin or a style for the existing Leia skin. Other than that, we will have to wait for more leaks or new teasers from Epic Games.
