Palworld Fan Designs Mecha Version of Jetragon

Highlights

  • Jetragon is a powerful Alpha Pal in Palworld with the ability to take flight and fire rockets, making it highly sought-after by players.
  • A Redditor recently designed a mechanical version of Jetragon, complete with robotic limbs and parts resembling jet engines, earning praise from other Palworld players.
  • The mecha Jetragon drawing received comparisons to robots from the Metal Gear series, showcasing the creative possibilities in Palworld’s open world.

A Palworld player set to work and created an impressive interpretation of what the powerful Pal called Jetdragon would look like if it were a giant, mechanical dragon. The Palworld fan artist then shared their finished drawing on social media, and other Palworld players complimented them for the style choices they made when designing the draconic mecha.

As a Dragon-type Pal, Jetragon is classified as an Alpha Pal, making it one of the most powerful creatures players will encounter in Palworld. With a powerful partner skill called Aerial Missile that allows it to take flight and fire rockets when commanded, Jetragon is among the most sought-after of Alpha Pals. However, getting to Jetragon is no easy task, as it makes its lair near a volcano located towards the west side of the world map. Jetragon will be level 50 when first encountered, and will assail players with a barrage of fast attacks that can cover a lot of ground. While level 50 Dark-type Pals can stand their ground against Jetragon, Palworld players will need to use both quick thinking and their surroundings during the fight. Players looking to catch Jetragon will craft plenty of Legendary Spheres beforehand.

A Palworld Player Draws Their Robotic Take on a Powerful Pal

On Reddit, a Palworld player named shunixe followed up on their mecha version of Katress by creating a mecha Jetragon and posting it on the r/Palworld subreddit. The OP kept Jetragon’s main color palette and its purple, crystalline wings. However, the artist redesigned the rest of Jetragon’s body to incorporate robotic limbs and parts resembling jet engines. The legs and the arms were given metal plates, and the dark parts of its body were coiled into different segments that stretched from head to tail. In the digital drawing, the mechanical Jetragon appeared with its arms raised, and its face turned to the left side as it assumed a combat stance. Jetragon’s name was printed on one of its tail plates, along with the designation “F10” on its neck.

In the comments of the r/Palworld post, some Palworld players complimented shunixe for their work. While some compared the mecha Jetragon to the eponymous robots from the Metal Gear series, such as Metal Gear Ray, one Redditor made a list of some of the passive traits and skills that the mecha Jetragon could have if it were an actual Pal in the game.

Palworld Petting Jetragon

With the original design of Jetragon bearing a resemblance to jets and robots from the start, it stands to reason that shunixe’s redesign was a hit with Palworld players. Only time will tell what players will create as Palworld‘s development continues.
