MLB The Show 24 – Storylines: The Negro Leagues Season 2

MLB The Show 24 news has been trickling in but most fans are eager to hear what’s new this year. We could see what’s coming to Season 2 of the Negro Leagues on Friday, February 16, but nothing has been set in stone.

Last year marked the start of a multi-year partnership for MLB The Show and the Negro Leagues aimed at introducing new generations of baseball fans to the historic figures and their stories of overcoming adversity. In the mode players embarked on an engaging narrative journey, centered around a chosen player, through short informational videos followed by gameplay that recreates significant moments in the player’s career. With every new release of MLB The Show, a new season will be introduced, featuring a new group of Negro League Legends and their stories to pay homage to these mostly underappreciated baseball legends.

News will start to ramp up later this week and the Negro Leagues Storylines were our Biggest Win of 2023, so we figured it was a good time to ask what you’d like to see in Storylines: The Negro Leagues Season 2. Any specific players? More variety? Ability to play with them in other modes? Let’s hear it.

The MLB The Show 24 Standard Edition will release on March 19 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. It will also be included with Game Pass on Day One. The MLB The Show 24 Negro Leagues Edition costs $124.99 with early access starting on March 15. The MVP and Digital Deluxe Editions will also get 4 days of early access. Also of note, the MLB The Show 24 Negro Leagues Edition won’t include the disc on PlayStation 5, but will on Xbox Series X|S.
