The Admirals are incredibly powerful individuals and the strongest military asset of the World Government in One Piece. They are known to be ferocious fighters, strong enough to contend with the Emperors themselves. The Admirals are mighty individuals who have strengthened themselves by engaging in many high-level fights against strong pirates.

Of course, over the course of One Piece, fans have seen the strength of the Admirals on many occasions. They have engaged in some incredible fights, some of which have absolutely managed to light up One Piece.

8 Aramaki Vs Akazaya Nine

Winner: None

One of the most recent fights that fans saw that involved an Admiral is that of Aramaki, also known as Greenville. Aramaki infiltrated Wano in an attempt to get the head of Luffy and take it to Sakazuki. Of course, this attempt was spoiled by the Nine Red Scabbards. Together, they took on Aramaki and fought against him with ferocity.

In the end, they struggled against him in combat and that is when Yamato joined the battle. Thanks to Yamato, the battle became somewhat even, however, in the end, Momonosuke decided to fight the fight by himself. Of course, the group could have handled Aramaki, especially because of Yamato, however, it was Shanks who interrupted the fight and caused it to break.

7 Kuzan Vs Jozu

Winner: Kuzan

The Paramount War was home to some of the most ferocious Admiral fights that the fans saw in One Piece. In this arc, fans got to see some of the most powerful pirates of the Whitebeard crew engage in combat with the Admirals.

When it comes to Admiral Aokiji, he was engaged in combat with Jozu, the Third Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. This fight was largely even for the most part. In fact, Aokiji even ended up receiving some injuries from Jozu. However, in the end, Jozu was distracted by Whitebeard’s worsening health. Aokiji made use of this opening to take him down in combat and won the battle.

6 Fujitora Vs Sabo

Winner: None

In the Dressrosa arc of One Piece, Fujitora was introduced as one of the new Admirals elected through the World Military Draft. He displayed the incredible power of his Devil Fruit in this arc and demonstrated it to the best of his abilities when he fought against Sabo. In this fight, Sabo also utilized the power of his newly acquired Devil Fruit and the two went at it in an extremely amazing flash.

Of course, Fujitora was not going all out and neither was Sabo. It was a fight that both of these individuals were fighting to stall the other. Despite that, it was an interesting battle where no real winner emerged.

5 Marco vs Kizaru

Winner: Kizaru

The Paramount War also saw Kizaru in action on multiple occasions and one of the most exciting fights that he fought came against Marco, the First Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates and the strongest underling of the Yonko. Marco and Kizaru were evenly matched in combat. In fact, Marco even managed to deal some heavy blows to him.

Both of these were evenly matched for the most part, however, when Whitebeard’s health was worsening, Marco was incredibly worried about his captain and this allowed the Marines to sneak up on him and put him in sea-stone cuffs. Once that was done, it was easy for Kizaru to injure him with his laser powers and take him down in combat. It must be noted, however, that, in a proper combat, both of them were evenly matched.

4 Sakazuki Vs Kuzan

Winner: Sakazuki

Following the events of the Paramount War, Sengoku resigned from his position as the Fleet Admiral, and a power vacuum was created. Two of the strongest Admirals, Kuzan and Sakazuki, decided to go against each other and fought on the island of Punk Hazard for 10 days.

This was a ferocious fight that changed the climate of the island permanently and made it uninhabitable. After 10 long days of battle, the person who came out on top was none other than Sakazuki, and, as a result, he became the next Fleet Admiral of the Marines, with Aokiji leaving the group.

3 Kizaru Vs Supernova

Winner: Kizaru

The most exciting fights with an Admiral that fans saw in One Piece came on the island of Sabaody, where Kizaru was sent following the incident that Luffy caused with the Celestial Dragons.

Kizaru was able to find against the Supernova captains and he wiped out four of them with rather ease. Fans got to see the power of his Pika Pika no Mi in full swing in this fight and they were certainly incredibly exciting.

2 Luffy Vs Kizaru

Winner: Luffy

In the Egghead Island Arc of One Piece, Kizaru finally engaged in combat with one of the Four Emperors of the Sea, Luffy. This fight was incredibly exciting for the fans and it saw the Marine Admiral test his skills against a Yonko.

Kizaru fought incredibly well in this fight, however, in the end, he was knocked down by Luffy with a powerful technique called White Star Gun. This technique was so strong that Kizaru was concussed and could not even move for several minutes.

1 Sakazuki Vs Whitebeard

Winner: Whitebeard

By far, one of the most exciting fights that an Admiral took part in in One Piece came during the Paramount War, after the death of Ace. Whitebeard, the Yonko, was enraged following this death, and his fury was directed at Sakazuki.

Despite being very old and already struggling with health issues, Whitebeard absolutely demolished Sakazuki in combat. His fury was such that Sakazuki ended up breaking several bones and he completely left the battlefield until Whitebeard died.
