Since the shiny odds are low, it is possible that players will need to defeat multiple raids to catch a shiny. Currently, the shiny odds for Pokemon which can Mega evolve stand at one in 64. This doesn’t mean that players are guaranteed to get a shiny Steelix if they encounter 64 of them. Instead, these will be the odds each time they head into battle, meaning they have about a 1.56% chance every time.
With 4149 CP, 212 attack, 327 defense, and 181 stamina stats, Steelix is not easy to beat. It is weather-boosted by both Snow and Sunny weather. How To Mega Evolve Shiny Steelix
Once players have a shiny Steelix, they can mega-evolve it by simply using 200 Mega energy. Note that this is the requirement for the first mega-evolution only, and the number goes down for subsequent evolutions. Mega energy is accumulated by completing mega raids, and the faster you take down a raid boss, the more energy you get.
