The A17 Pro chip in the iPhone 15 Pro makes it a powerful handheld device, redefining the expectations of what mobile devices are capable of within the gaming industry. The phone is able to run expansive and highly detailed releases, with Death Stranding Director‘s Cut being on the current roster of upcoming 15 Pro games.

Death Stranding was an ambitious project from Kojima Productions that originally released in 2019, offering deeply atmospheric gameplay in a dystopian future. The player has to navigate the game’s world as a courier for isolated colonies of survivors, with things like placed ladders and ropes also appearing in other player’s worlds to offer a kind of multiplayer presence within the title. Death Stranding Director’s Cut was originally set for a late 2023 release window on iOS, but this has now been pushed back to early 2024.

These scheduled release dates may be pushed back further as a result of any delays in the near future.

The Division: Resurgence is one of the most unique titles set to come to the iPhone 15 Pro, being developed purely for mobile platforms. A third-person RPG set in The Division universe, Resurgence is set to offer familiar PvP gameplay set in New York, and is aiming to release at some point during 2024. Ubisoft has not revealed many details around the title as things stand, but players can expect the iPhone 15 Pro to offer the best graphical fidelity and performance for the mobile release.

Another Ubisoft title, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, is also set to come to the iPhone 15 Pro in the near future. Having only released on consoles in October, Mirage took the AC franchise back to its more intimate story-driven roots, returning to the Middle East and doing away with the new RPG open world formula of the series. Mirage will be available on the iPhone 15 Pro in early 2024 as things stand, really showcasing the newfound power fueling mobile gaming.

The Resident Evil Franchise is Getting a Lot of Love From the iPhone 15 Pro

Fans of the Resident Evil franchise will be happy with the roster of iPhone 15 Pro games, with the recent Resident Evil 4 remake already coming to the device on December 20. The Resident Evil 4 Remake has been hailed as a faithful and constructive reimagining of the 2005 game, and players can already re-experience a big part of Leon Kennedy’s story on the iPhone 15 Pro.

As well as this, the acclaimed Resident Evil: Village has also released for the iPhone 15 Pro, coming to the device on October 30. Carrying on from the narrative of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Village took the franchise to a sinister village in Romania filled with fantastical horrors, while giving more screentime to iconic characters like Chris Redfield. Village is a must-play for fans of the RE franchise, and the title is available alongside the RE4 remake as just a few of the many games that will be available to play on the iPhone 15 Pro in the near future.
