Cheese is one of the many different types of food you can get in LEGO Fortnite, and while it can be consumed on its own, it’s also an ingredient to making pizza, which can restore even more health and help you stave off hunger for longer. Here’s how to get cheese in LEGO Fortnite and what it’s used for.
Where to find cheese in LEGO Fortnite
Cheese can only be found in chests dotted throughout the world. From my time playing the game, there are no specific chests or locations you need to go to specifically to find these cheese-containing chests. However, I’ve had more success when its come to chests tucked away inside various caves, abandoned buildings, ruins and other less obvious places than ones just randomly out in the open.
Other members of the team here at PC Invasion also haven’t found any trend in the chests or their locations that have contained cheese. It does appear to be a relatively rare drop, though, so don’t go expecting to find it in every chest that you open.
Can You Make Cheese?
Nope. Right now cheese cannot be crafted or made in any capacity, only found. It seems a bit odd to me, given there’s milk in the game and the whole gameplay loop is about finding ingredients and using them to create bigger and better things. Cheese seems like a logical next step from milk, so it might get a crafting recipe in the future, but right now you’ll just have to stick with seeking it out throughout the world.
What Is Cheese Used For & All Stat Properties
Cheese can be eaten to replenish six Hearts and five Hunger on its own. It’s also one of the ingredients used to make Pizza which can restore a massive 25 Hearts, 20 Hunger and also gives you five additional temporary Hearts which can come in handy if you’re fighting one of those pesky Brutes or another tough enemy.
Making Pizza in LEGO Fortnite
To make Pizza, you’ll need to first build yourself an Oven (8 Brightcore, 15 Copper Bars, 35 Obsidian Slabs). Once you’ve got these materials, you can then select it from the crafting menu and build it wherever you want in the world.
Now that you’ve got an Oven, you need to combine the following ingredients inside it to make a pizza:
- 1 Cheese
- 2 Flour
- 1 Meat
- 3 Spicy Peppers
Cheese, as mentioned above is found in chests. Meat can be found by killing animals while flour is obtained from putting Wheat in the Grain Mill. Finally, Spicy Peppers can be found in the Dry Valley on bushes only found in this region.
Once these have been combined in the Oven, you’ll cook yourself a tasty pizza.
