The Yonko are known to be the four most powerful pirates to live in the One Piece world. These pirates rule the New World like kings and their strength is such that the vast majority of the fighters in the One Piece world cannot stand up to them.

One of the biggest reasons why the Yonko are as strong as they are is their Haki. Almost all the Yonko are incredibly overpowered users of Haki and all of them specialize in a certain type. Their Haki is known to be especially powerful, given that they stand at the very top of the pirating world. While some Yonko have a decent grasp of Haki, others have completely mastered this art over the years.

7 Buggy

Buggy is the only Yonko in One Piece to not have access to Haki at all. In fact, his entire status as Yonko is almost fraudulent. Buggy is a Yonko simply due to his incredible connections. He is one of the apprentices of Roger and also a sworn brother of Shanks.

At the same time, Buggy is also believed to be the leader of both Mihawk and Crocodile and that gives him incredible pedigree. Taking all these things into consideration, Buggy was made a Yonko recently. However, it is quite clear for the fans to see that Buggy isn’t all that strong. He doesn’t have access to any Haki at the moment. However, fans would be stupid to undermine him. Buggy does have incredible ambition and wants to aim for the One Piece and, as such, a pirate such as him could end up awakening Conqueror’s Haki in the future.

6 Blackbeard

Blackbeard is one of the very strongest Emperors in One Piece and he certainly deserves every bit of his 3.996 billion beri bounty. Blackbeard is a user of two Haki types in Observation and Armament Haki and while these two are very strong, he doesn’t seem to excel in any of these, at least at the moment.

Instead, Blackbeard makes tremendous use of his Devil Fruit abilities. He has the strongest Paramecia-type fruit in the Gura Gura no Mi, which allows him to produce quakes, and the strongest Logia, the Yami Yami no Mi, which allows him to manipulate darkness itself. His Haki seems to be nothing too special at the moment, but that could change in the future.

5 Big Mom

• Other Haki Types: Advanced Armament Haki, Observation Haki

Big Mom is one of the fiercest Emperors of the Sea in One Piece and she has a bounty of 4.388 billion berries that she has accumulated over the years. Big Mom is a tremendous user of three Haki types and, out of those, her specialty certainly seems to be the color of the Supreme King, or Conqueror’s Haki.

In Wano, she was seen making use of advanced Conqueror’s Haki. However, it would be disingenuous to say that Conqueror’s Haki is where she truly shines. Big Mom seems to be more reliant on her Devil Fruit powers, as was evident throughout the Wano arc.

4 Whitebeard

The strongest man in the world, Whitebeard is One of the few characters worthy of rivaling Roger in One Piece and he certainly did it with quite some charisma. Whitebeard was the user of the Gura Gura no Mi and this Devil Fruit gave him enough power to destroy the world.

If that wasn’t enough, Whitebeard also specialized in Haki, and his Conqueror’s Haki was known to be quite powerful, as seen in the Oden flashback. That said, fans do not know exactly how skilled he was as a user of Conqueror’s Haki.

3 Kaido

• Other Haki Types: Future Sight, Advanced Armament

Although Kaido is an incredibly powerful Devil Fruit user, thanks to his Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryuu power, he is also an exceptionally powerful user of Haki. Kaido made sure to train every single aspect of his power and that is why he is as strong as he is. Kaido specializes in the usage of Conqueror’s Haki and fans have seen this throughout the Wano arc.

If that wasn’t enough, he is also a user of Future Sight Haki, although he doesn’t seem to rely on it as much. His Armament Haki is also trained to the very extreme, as he is able to damage his enemies from a distance.

2 Luffy

One of the new Emperors of the Sea, Luffy specializes in the usage of Conqueror’s Haki and that has been confirmed by Oda himself. That said, Luffy has also trained all his other Haki types to the very best.

He is a user of Future Sight and he can also use advanced Armament Haki. Overall, since Luffy has an affinity for Conqueror’s Haki, this is the style that he can develop the most.

1 Shanks

Shanks is one of the strongest Yonko in One Piece and he’s also the most special case. Most fans know that Shanks specializes in the usage of Conqueror’s Haki but he’s also a very special user of Observation Haki. Shanks possesses tremendous Conqueror’s Haki, which might just be the strongest that the fans have seen in the entire series.

He was able to knock down a 3 billion berry pirate and his right-hand man in a single Conqueror’s Haki attack. At the same time, Shanks can see the future for longer than 10 seconds, which is absolutely mind-blowing. If that wasn’t enough, Shanks can use his powers to kill the Observation Haki of his enemies and, all these things taken into consideration just go on to show that Shanks is a true master of Haki like no other in One Piece.
