How to Eat Some Fairly Simple Meals

Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s latest update, The Pumpkin King Returns, welcomes fan-favorite character Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas and brings with him a new seasonal Star Path event. Jack should feel right at home amidst the spooky decorations that were available in the game’s preceding Haunted Holiday Star Path.

The Royal Winter Star Path in Dreamlight Valley offers rewards celebrating Jack’s other favorite holiday, offering a variety of wonderful winter clothing and decor. The event also features two unlockable Dream Styles featuring holiday outfits for Belle and Ariel (unfortunately, Jack’s trademark “Sandy Claws” suit is absent). Players eager to get their own claws on these new character skins will need to complete duties in the event to earn currency needed to purchase them before the event’s end.

One task in the Royal Winter Star Path challenges players to “eat some fairly simple meals.” Although all of Dreamlight Valley‘s recipes are technically simple to make—select ingredients, toss them in a pot, and enjoy—this Star Path requires specific criteria to be met for credit. Here is what players need to do to eat some fairly simple meals in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The Star Path tasks in Dreamlight Valley often highlight the game’s extensive cooking feature, which boasts over 200 recipes, and over 300 for those with the A Rift in Time expansion. This particular Royal Winter Star Path focuses on consuming meals of a specific star rating.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, “fairly simple meals” are any meal with a 2-star rating or higher. The star rating of a recipe correlates with the number of ingredients required. Therefore, a two-star meal requires just two ingredients to prepare.

To complete this Star Path task, players only need to eat the meals. Thus, any meal with a 2-star rating or higher will count for this task, even though players will naturally be preparing the meals themselves.

Duties that require players to cook meals (and not eat) of a specific star rating will only count if meals prepared are of that exact rating.

To fulfill this Star Path task, players should go to any cooking station, then prepare and consume 15 meals rated 2-stars or higher. There is no need for variety in the dishes; players may choose to prepare 15 identical meals, choosing those which are easier to make or have ingredients that are readily available.
