The Egghead arc is the first of many in the Final Saga of One Piece. The arc saw the Straw Hat Pirates making their way to Egghead Island, which is the home of Dr. Vegapunk. The scientist has worked with the World Government for decades and created many outstanding projects for them.

The Egghead arc revealed new information about Vegapunk and his past. Aside from him, there were reveals pertaining to the Five Elders and Imu. But the Egghead arc couldn’t cover every single thing in detail. So, there were still many questions that were left unanswered by Oda.

Imu is arguably the most mysterious character in One Piece. They have only made a handful of appearances in the story, and all of them have been rather limited. In the Egghead arc, Imu made an appearance in front of Nefertari Cobra and the Five Elders, leaving them shocked.

Cobra was given the opportunity to ask a few questions, and he did so without fail, but he had very little idea that his fate was already sealed and he wouldn’t leave the room alive. Sabo tried to help the ruler of Alabasta, but Imu used their Devil Fruit power to attack both Cobra and Sabo. It is currently unknown what kind of power Imu has. But it is safe to say that it is among the most powerful abilities in the series.

After Koby was taken away by the Blackbeard Pirates, Garp took it upon himself to save his protégé. He decided to head towards Hachinosu, the territory of the Blackbeard Pirates. Garp did not travel alone. He was supported by the likes of Prince Grus, Kinjaku, Hibari, and Helmeppo.

Garp had no idea that he would have to face Kuzan, his old pupil, who had joined the Blackbeard Pirates. Garp fought Kuzan, but the other members of the Blackbeard Pirates continued to interfere and distract the hero of the Marines. This allowed Kuzan to injure his old teacher. Garp sacrificed himself to allow the young Marines to escape from the island. Garp was last seen laughing while being frozen by Kuzan.

5 Power Of Five Elders

The Godheads

The Five Elders are among the strongest characters in One Piece. They are also known as Godheads, whose job it is to oversee certain departments. The Five Elders were involved in the Egghead arc, where they were engaged in an intense conversation with Nefertari Cobra.

When Imu appeared out of nowhere, the Five Elders knew that they had to kill Cobra. They weren’t expecting Sabo to attack them, but the young revolutionary could not harm them. Following his attack, the Five Elders used their Devil Fruit powers. Oda only revealed their silhouettes, which makes sense as he would want to keep it a mystery for longer. St. Jaygarcia Saturn is the only member of the Five Elders whose transformation has been revealed.

Monkey D. Dragon is the leader of the Revolutionary Army and the most wanted man in the world. Initially, he started an organization called Freedom Fighters and tried to change things peacefully. However, he did not find great success with this approach. After the massacre in Ohara, Dragon changed his methods, which resulted in the Revolutionary Army becoming more fierce.

It has been confirmed that Dragon was a Marine but left the organization after seeing its plight. However, it is unconfirmed what position he served in and what specific event drove him out of the Marines. Furthermore, Dragon’s Devil Fruit ability remains unknown, along with who he married.

3 Attacker Behind Marijoa

Iron Giant’s Attack

One of the many reveals in the Egghead arc was that Marijoa was attacked by a giant robot known as the Iron Giant 200 years ago. It is unclear how the Iron Giant made its way to the Holy Land and who was responsible for setting it up. The Iron Giant is powered by a unique source of energy, which Vegapunk tried to research.

But his actions were reported to the Five Elders by York. The giant robot is currently on Egghead Island, and it became active after Luffy used Gear 5th. So, it is possible that the source of its energy is somehow linked to the ancient sun god Nika. Oda will likely shed more light on it in the next arcs.

Almost all the founding families of the World Government are fiercely loyal to the organization. They have devoted their lives to protecting and ensuring that no harm befalls the world government. However, there was one specific family that turned its back on the organization.

This was the Nefertari Family, and at that time, it was led by Nefertari Lily. Despite initially supporting the World Government, Lily betrayed it for some unknown reasons. It is possible that she figured out the ulterior motives of the other families and tried to go back to her kingdom. Unfortunately, at the moment, it is all speculation, and nothing concrete has been revealed about Lily and her betrayal.

Trouble In Paradise

The God Valley is a sensitive subject for the World Government. After all, it was the place where the celestial dragons were attacked by the Rocks Pirates. In Kuma’s flashback, fans learned that he was also present in God Valley when Rocks and his crew members arrived.

However, it is still unknown who fought Rocks and how a pirate crew with so many infamous pirates was defeated. It is also unclear what role St. Figarland Garling played in the battle.
