The Devil’s Playhouse Remastered Gets Delayed to Spring 2024

Skunkape has announced that Sam and Max: The Devil’s Playhouse Remastered now has a Spring 2024 release window. The company made the announcement with a new teaser trailer, which you can check out below. The remaster for Sam and Max: The Devil’s Playhouse now also has a page on Steam.

The new Spring 2024 release window for Sam and Max: The Devil’s Playhouse Remastered is quite a major delay from the game’s original release window of 2023. The remaster was announced back in January along with a trailer.

The original release of Sam and Max: The Devil’s Playhouse was an episodic series comprised of five parts: The Penal Zone, The Tomb of Sammun-Mak, They Stole Max’s Brain!, Beyond the Alley of the Dolls, and The City That Dares Not Sleep. It is one of the last traditional adventure games developed by Telltale before the studio released the first season of The Walking Dead.

Sam and Max: The Devil’s Playhouse was originally released back in 2010, and was playable at the time on PC, PS3 and iPad. Much like its predecessors, it is a point-and-click adventure game with an emphasis on comedy.
