The Forest Quartet is Coming to Nintendo Switch on November 17

Bedtime Digital Games and Mads & Friends have officially announced that The Forest Quartet is finally launching for Nintendo Switch on November 17, priced at $9.99. This narrative puzzle adventure title initially launched in December 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.

In The Forest Quartet, players will take on the role of the spirit of a deceased lead singer. Navigating through the minds of the remaining quartet members, Kirk, JB, and Sebastian, players embark on a journey to reignite the band’s musical spark for a final farewell concert, all while dealing with the complexities of grief. Each band member’s unique story unfolds across three acts, in which players will face their emotions, solve puzzles, and fight the corruption plaguing their souls.

As the spirit of the lead singer, players will sing to interact with objects and create light with their fingertips. They will also glide, float, and transform into butterflies to explore the band members’ psyches.

Developers emphasize that The Forest Quartet is a labor of love, created as a personal and family project to pay homage to a beloved individual who has passed away. The game addresses the sensitive theme of grief within a minimalistic dreamlike 3D world, creating a serene and comforting atmosphere that balances both melancholy and uplifting tones.

Since its initial release, The Forest Quartet has received generally favorable reviews. Many have praised the game for its remarkable art and simple mechanics. Even though the gameplay is relatively short, the game has captivated fans for its heartwarming narrative and especially its beautiful musical elements. Overall, The Forest Quartet offers a brief and calming gaming experience with a profound psychological storyline.

Nintendo fans who want to be notified as soon as The Forest Quartet launches on their platform can now add the game to their Nintendo eShop wishlist.
