Diablo 4 Season 2 trading suspended indefinitely due to item dupe exploit

Diablo 4 developer Blizzard has indefinitely suspended in-game trading to address an issue that enabled players to duplicate gold and specific items. It’s currently unclear when this feature will be reinstated. Still, the ARPG’s team has revealed that they are working on a fix and will “continue to monitor this activity to ensure a healthy playing experience for all.”

In addition, if you’re one of the players who used this dupe exploit, be warned: one of the game’s community managers noted that “any account that engages in gold and item duplication exploits will be actioned in accordance with our End User License Agreement.” This means that your account may end up being suspended or, worse, banned if the devs discover any evidence of item tampering beforehand.

Now that this underutilized feature has been removed from the game, you will need to learn what the best dungeons to farm in Diablo 4 Season 2 are so you can collect the Diablo 4 unique items list in Season 2. However, many of the reactions under one particular Reddit post indicate that the removal of trading isn’t all that big of a loss for the community. One user even asked: “Wait, there was trading in this game?” under the aforementioned thread.

“There’s absolutely no point in trading in this game with the way they’ve designed the loot system,” said BRich1990, echoing the same sentiment most players have had since Diablo 4’s launch. Of course, there are still a few fans who utilize in-game trading every now and then to share loot with friends or clan members. But for now, you’ll have to remain patient until Blizzard reintroduces it with additional security measures in tow to prevent unwanted glitches from being exploited.
