NetEase Games has announced the arrival of two powerful new Shikigami in Onmyoji with the launch of the Warding Light event. Until early November, you will be able to recruit these two heroes and get your hands on a host of rewards through Memory Scrolls.
If you are looking for some serious firepower, then the sun goddess Amaterasu fits that bill. This new SSR unit packs a punch, starting with a standard attack that can deal up to 125% damage per hit. A fine start, and when combined with her Special, she can really dish out the damage.
Amaterasu will strike all foes three times, dealing up to 100% damage each hit and a second three to the targetted enemy. If that wasn’t enough, she will also grant her strongest ally Radiance for two turns. This will then proc her Passive when an ally with Radiance deals damage, Amaterasu will also deal damage. A truly devastating ally to have.
Until November 7th you will have a chance to pick up this pretty powerful goddess, alongside the SP Kusa Regrown through summoning. During the event, you will be guaranteed an SP or SSR Shikigami within 60 summons, although this will reset if you are lucky enough to get one without the pity pull. You can also use Mystery Amulets, Jades, and AR Amulets to get 40 summons, and an additional Random SP/SSR Shikigami.
After setting up your party with these powerful new characters, it’s time to turn your attention to the treasure trove of rewards up for grabs. Take part in the event modes, and you will start to rack up exclusive event items that can be exchanged for powerful options such as Amanozako’s new Astral Wings Skin, an SSR/SP Summon Scroll, Animated frame, Skill Aruma and much more.
As you farm for these items, you will be picking up some Scroll Shard, which can be used to repair Memory Scrolls. After repairing these, you will be getting random items, and working your way to the top of the contribution rankings. Place well enough, and you will also get shards for the two new characters as well as event-limited frames.
