Little Goody Two Shoes, an upcoming horror narrative adventure game by developer AstralShift and publisher Square Enix, is now scheduled to launch for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5 on October 31st. Alongside this announcement is a brand-new trailer, offering a closer look at its features and gameplay.
Set in the small and devout town of Kieferberg, Little Goody Two Shoes follows the life of Elise, a vibrant and ambitious girl with a big dream of becoming filthy rich. One day, Elise discovers a pair of beautiful shiny red shoes buried in her backyard. Bewitched, Elise embarks on a treacherous journey that takes her closer to the heart of the mysterious Woods.
As players take on the role of Elise, they must manage every aspect of her life. This includes navigating her relationships with the villagers to avoid arousing suspicion of witchcraft, which could lead her to be left to die in the Woods as punishment. During the day, players will strengthen Elise’s bonds with her fellow villagers and work to make a living by playing fun minigames. When night falls, Elise can roam around the Woodlands where deadly enemies await as she tries to uncover its secrets.
In Little Goody Two Shoes, every decision can shape Elise’s fate, and the game features 10 possible endings based on players’ choices and actions. Players may also build romantic relationships with the charming bachelorettes of Kieferberg, unlocking dreamy date scenes and storylines for each of these all-female cast of romanceable characters.
Despite being categorized as a horror game, Little Goody Two Shoes features magical and charming graphics, infused with nostalgic 90s shoujo anime design, reminiscent of Sailor Moon. This artistic choice adds a mysterious and intriguing atmosphere to the game, effectively concealing the ominous and dark secrets that lie beneath the surface.
